Privacy policy

This policy explains what Bulwark NYC (“we”) collects on this website and why.

What we collect

When you send a form we keep what you typed (name, contact details, address, message) so we can reply. When you request a violation report we keep the address, the report and the e-mail address it was sent to, so we can follow up. Our server keeps ordinary access logs (page, time, browser type, an anonymised network address) to keep the site running and understand which pages are useful. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

Public records

The violation report contains records published by the City of New York on NYC Open Data and the Department of City Planning’s GeoSearch service. We do not alter them and cannot correct them; contact the issuing agency to dispute a record.

How we use it

To reply to you, to prepare a proposal, to manage a building you own or live in, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it except with service providers who help us run the business (e-mail, hosting) and as the law requires.

Your choices

Ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you at [email protected]. This site sets two first-party cookies for our own visitor analytics (a visitor ID for one year and a session ID for 30 minutes) so we can see which pages are useful and which bring inquiries; they are not shared with anyone and carry no personal information. Staff sign-in uses a third cookie. You can block cookies in your browser and the site still works.
